A communications specialist widely known in the Delaware Valley by her 6ABC stage name Lizabeth Starr, Liz Matt brings two decades of media expertise to the Sharla Feldscher Public Relations. Liz has built a career encompassing many aspects of the communications field from public relations and branding to the fast-paced demands of daily TV talk shows, public broadcasting and the arts. She has also been involved in video news production for one of the world’s premier health care companies, Johnson & Johnson.

As a communications consultant for the Women’s Business Development Center, Liz assisted with a diverse range of projects, from client relations to event management, in support of the organizational mission to foster the growth of women business enterprises in the greater Philadelphia region.

A graduate of Temple University’s School of Communications and Theater, Liz studied documentary filmmaking and developed a reputation for her multidimensional contributions as writer-producer-performer. While Channel 6 audiences saw Lizabeth Starr “live” on the set every day, co-hosting “AM/Philadelphia” for over a decade alongside Wally Kennedy, her colleagues also knew her as a dynamo behind the scenes, directing video shoots in the field and hands-on in the editing room. Her Philadelphia broadcast career also included on-air positions with “Evening Magazine” at KYW3, “State of the Arts” at NJN and “Good Day” at Fox 29.
